Concordia Bus Fleet’s first year
During the year the organization was reinforced with two bus specialists and one leasing manager. In total, buses of a value of approximately SEK 1 billion were acquired and financed. A Group-wide rental model for charging bus rent and a new leasing system for improved management and control of buses and bus costs were introduced. At the same time the bus fleet was consolidated with two units – all owned buses to Swebus Busco and all leased to Concordia Bus Fleet with the same Managing Director for both companies.
In 2006 Concordia Bus Fleet accounted for 19 percent of all newly registered buses in Sweden, Norway and Finland. All financing of new buses is done through financial leasing with Nordic leasing companies.
